Bumps, Bat and Bruises

Been very busy at work lately. Overtime every now & then. But you won't hear me complain! Thank God for giving me a job. :)

Anyways, lemme share a funny scenario which happened one time at our laboratory while we were busy and already doing overtime. 'Twas about 8 pm. Mary was busy going about her work when i suddenly noticed something move at one of the windows in the lab. At first i thought it was a rat, but turned out to be a bat, a small one for that matter. we didn't pay much attention to it at first. but when may ann took a closer look, the bat suddenly flew around the lab making everyone (Me, Mary & Inish) freak out. One (i won't say it was Inish) slid to the floor while trying to stay away from the bat. After flying around, the bat decided to land near the door to our isolation room! So basically, it was blocking our way (though not literally). Mary got burned while holding a tray of hot petri plates (fresh from the oven) and at the same time trying to ward off the bat from where it landed near the entrance. Luckily the bat flew to the direction of the door and landed just outside the laboratory. It stayed outside for quite some time that we were able to take snapshots of it. It was such a funny scene trying to stay away from the bat while it flew around the lab and over our heads.

Here he is! Meet Mr. Bat,
