One year after my very first post about PRCRTC's anniversary and here I am doing it again. Let's start it off with our cocktail party. It was a night filled with a tummy-filling buffet, musical performances from students donning their skills in playing instruments such as violin and piano, dance numbers, etc. Everyone were pretty excited prior to the party because we all get to dress up for the occasion. I totally enjoyed the night.
The week-long celebration also included seminars and food-tasting featuring products made from rootcrops, of course. :)
My most favorite part, however, was our family day (Friday). The whole, well most of us from our Center drove for two hours to our destination for that day - white sand beach somewhere in Macrohon, Southern Leyte. The beach, with its fine white sand and peaceful environment was to die-for! Volleyball was played under the heat of the sun, we dipped on the waters sometime during the afternoon, and relaxed on a hammock tied under palm trees lined on the beach. Pictures were taken, of course.
on our way to Macrohon. Our convoy consists of two buses and one van. Haha! Ang dami kaya namin.
arrival of the pack. :)
ah! food. Since it's almost Holy Week, our menu for the day included different dishes of fish and veggies. #healthyeating
ba ba ba ba banana...
The group outing was the best for me because we had the chance to unwind and relax after the week's busy activities. Our laboratory was prolly the busiest during that week because we had to prepare all the products for the food-tasting event. Nevertheless, I enjoyed. That's all that matters, right? xoxo
